As requested, I have added some training route.
Please remember I am not qualified in any way to give you tips or advice, but I will always try and share what I learnt from not training in 2010.
I will always advise anyone thinking of taking part in TWWB to train on hills.
Don’t hit the hills to hard too soon as you WILL injure yourself.
If you have not ridden a bike for a while I do not suggest you jump straight into a training plan, but instead enjoy a few weeks of riding your bike and letting your body get used to riding a bike again.
The routes you see below are the ones used in group training rides and ones I used myself.
Routes are hosted via Strava and you can download routes files from there site.
They start as a fairly easy 10.2 mile ride and slowly ramp up to a 114 mile ride from Wincanton to Sidmouth back.
Each route has it own little challenge and none shy away from hills.
Hopefully these routes will inspire you to find you own routes and hills during your training for TWWB.
